LXLE manages its own support forums which is built using the opensource Vanilla forums platform. Current LXLE users can find help, provide support to others and contribute to OS development.

LXLE uses the XMPP protocol to provide chat room and IM support for users to utilize.

Connecting to the LXLE chatroom and hanging out or asking questions can be done one of two ways.

The first way is the easiest. You can just use the chat button on the bottom right hand side of the LXLE website and forums pages.

The second way is more convenient in many ways, particularly if you already have an XMPP account, like GoogleTalk/Google+.

If not you can signup for a XMPP account through many services, I would suggest DuckDuckGo's XMPP service and Pidgin IM.

Once you have your XMPP account simply 'add chat' in your messenger, select your XMPP account, add room name, lxle_chat_room at server conference.dukgo.com
